Here are the few Kitchen designs which i collected from the website www.look4design.co.uk. You can think in creative ways to reduce the cost you put into making these kitchens into your dream home. Few ideas i used to reduce the cost.1. Use Glass wherever possible, this reduces the usage of costlier wood.
2. Use spry paint to get the finish of the wooden sheets without actually using those costly wooden sheets.
3. Select a normal wood carpenter and be with him when he is building your kitchen based on your design. Always remember avoid going for contract Kitchens, they are often costly and they give you the bills. They select the material, cost of the material used and you only get to pay them.
4. When making a normal carpenter build your kitchen, you select the material, colors, finishing. And when you choose material you have the choice to get the best material at very reasonable rates by your skill of bargaining.5. Don't put the cabinets just for the heck of putting them, use your instinct and decide what goes to your kitchen and design cabinets only based on that decisions.
Now that you have your custom designed Kitchen into your dream house, next step to take care to reduce is choosing the wall and floor tiles. i always suggest you to go for a rough finished tiles for the floor to avoid any kind of slipping. On a smooth finished tile you often miss to spot spilled water while cooking or washing. if you have rough finished floors even if you miss to spot the water or any kind of liquid, you wont slip. I've used "Dholpur"
finish black tiles from NITCO manufacturers. These tiles are not costly and looks very stylish.

You can check out this picture to see yourself how stylish they look.
Next step is to choose you wall tiles. The point you need to keep in your mind is not to lay your tiles before choosing your cabinet design. If you lay your tiles without designing your cabinets, you will end up covering your wall tiles with your cabinets. And it will be a complete waste of money you put on your wall tiles. Instead once your Kitchen design is fixed, wherever the wall will be visible use designer tiles and normal tiles where the cabinet cover the tiles. To keep your kitchen clean always, never forget to lay the wall tiles wherever there is a chance for water to be spilled while cooking or cleaning. I am posting the picture of my kitchen below

Now comes the next big decision of choosing the Hob N Hoods, the next costliest items after the cabinets. Always remember to choose on quality branded products. Read a lot of reviews before zeroing on a product. I've chosen Hindware.

Leon is the Hood I've chosen. And I chose
Cathy Hob.I'll see you guys again with posts related to other parts of the dream home very soon.
Have a great time.
